Movie Grades:
Rampage = C+ (tons of fun...great popcorn flick!)
Ready Player One = C- (don't waste your time or money...just buy the book)
Budgets: Ready Player One = $175 million plus at least $150 million in marketing versus Rampage = $120 million plus $140 million in marketing...sometimes less really is more (source: wikipedia)

A fellow critic I spoke to after the screening who had read it said they changed a lot and he wasn't happy with it, but he admitted the movie was still really enjoyable. About the only in-your-face lesson the movie puts forth is don't spend all your time playing video games; spend some face time with your loved ones as wel
